This Fruit can be collected early or late in the crop. The crop date will change the amount of natural vitamin C present in the Extract. We can offer this ingredient with carries, helping to prevent natural vitamin C oxidation, and without carries.
Acerola is commonly used orally to prevent vitamin C deficiency. It acts as an antioxidant, helping to protect cells against free radical damage (These are compounds that form when the body converts the food we consume into energy). The body needs vitamin C to produce collagen, a protein needed for healing wounds. Vitamin C increases the production of white blood cells, providing support for the immune system.
Acerola can be consumed fresh, juices, teas using its leaves that have the same vitamins as the fruit, jellys, gelato (ice cream), pudding, pies and so on.
